First position in Zonal Science Exhibition and Science activities
Salwan Boys has participated in the Zonal level science exhibition and activities on 12th – 13th November 2025 held at Rana Pratap (Sindhi) SV, New Rajinder Nagar in the categories- science exhibition, poster, sciencetoon, slogan, quiz and debate. Our students have been selected for the next higher level in the zonal level science exhibition.
Ishaan of class 7B secured 1st position in junior level science poster category and Himanshu of class 12B second position in science debate competition. The science exhibit made by Saksham Mehta and Nursed of class 9 on Subtheme: Green Energy – “UVvita panel” has secured first position at Zonal level.
Secured First position in Center Level Science and Mathematics Exhibition
Our students Saksham Mehta and Nursed of class 9th have participated in the Science center level science and Mathematics exhibition held on 17- 29 November 2025. Their project ‘UVita panel ‘( sub- theme: Green Energy) secured first position in the central level science exhibition. The aim of the project is to ensure reliable, affordable and accessible renewable energy that meets the rising demand, even in urban, shaded and resource-limited environments, supporting the country’s transition towards sustainable power generation.

Salwan Public School, Ghaziabad proudly received the prestigious Best School Award (2025–26) by EduConnectIn for excellence in the Delhi NCR. EduConnectIn, India’s largest school search platform with over 15 lakh listed schools, conducted the contest from July to October 2025, where thousands of schools participated and over 3 lakh parents shared feedback. Schools were evaluated on Technical Excellence and Parent Feedback. Out of 11,846 schools assessed in Delhi NCR, the school secured a place in the Elite Category, reflecting our commitment to quality education and community trust.
Expert-Led DLD Session 2025
Salwan Public School, Ghaziabad conducted the Expert-Led Digital Learning Day (DLD) Session 2025) on 19 November 2025, bringing together 45 educators for a day of hands-on learning and professional enrichment.
Three expert resource persons led the sessions:
- Subham Rana (STEMROBO Organisation) – Introduced teachers to circuit design and Micro: bit programming through practical STEM activities.
- Dinesh Malik (National Science Centre) – Demonstrated simple, cost-effective science experiments to enhance inquiry-based learning.
- Sunita Madan (Principal, Salwan Public School) – Delivered an impactful session on sustainability, carbon footprint awareness, and practical eco-friendly practices.
Participants also explored the school’s Innovation Lab, Library, Herbal Garden, Kitchen Garden, and Open Ground, gaining insights into experiential and outdoor learning spaces.
The DLD Session 2025 reinforced the school’s commitment to innovative pedagogy, STEM integration, and sustainable education, equipping teachers with future-ready teaching strategies aligned with NEP 2020.

Teen Parenting: Needs to Independence: A Transformative Parent Workshop
Salwan Public School conducted a workshop “Teen Parenting: Needs to Independence” on 15th November 2025 for parents of students from Classes VI to XII. The workshop was facilitated by Ms. Shivani Yadav, an RCI-registered Rehabilitation Counsellor and Counselling Psychologist, specialising in child and adolescent mental health. With extensive experience across schools, private clinics, and government institutions such as the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ms. Yadav brought valuable insights to the session. She is also the Founder of The Becoming, an initiative that supports children and parents in navigating everyday challenges by helping them connect with their “wisdom from within.”
The session aimed to help parents understand the developmental needs of teenagers as they transition towards real-life practicality and independence. Through an engaging and interactive format, Ms. Yadav introduced the framework of 3S -Support, Scaffold, and Set It Free, encouraging parents to nurture their child’s autonomy while maintaining emotional connection and guidance.
The workshop also included experiential activities that enabled parents to reflect on their communication patterns, expectations, and parenting styles. Emphasis was placed on creating enabling, nurturing and inclusive home environments that acknowledge the diverse needs of adolescents, including those with learning and emotional differences.
The event concluded with parents gaining practical strategies to strengthen their relationships with their teenagers, promote resilience, and guide them towards responsible independence. The workshop was well-received and contributed meaningfully to fostering healthier parent–child interactions within the school community.
Salwanians Participate in DLD Workshop at SPS Tronica City
Dr. Shilpa Raghuvanshi Chauhan and Ms. Vani Ranga, faculty members from Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, attended the DLD Workshop at SPS Tronica City on 19 November 2025. Expert trainers from STEM Robo demonstrated cutting-edge STEM applications in contemporary education, followed by an engaging session by Mr. Dinesh Malik, Innovation Officer, National Science Centre, on hands-on methods for teaching physics.
The workshop concluded with an address by Ms. Sunita Madan, Principal, SPS Tronica City, who emphasised the role of teachers and school leaders in effectively integrating STEAM education to enhance student learning and overall well-being.
Capacity Building Programme
A Capacity Building Programme was conducted on 22nd November 2025 at J.J. Hall, Salwan Published c School Rajendra Nagar. The workshop aimed to equip participants with strategies and techniques to incorporate active learning and adopting 21st century skills into their teaching practices. The day began with a green welcome accord to the resource person Ms. Bakshish Madan (PGT-Physics, Guru Harikrishan Public School, Nanak Piao) by Ms. Jyotsna Grover (Vice Principal, Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar). In the Welcome address, Ms. Jyotsna Grover spoke about the need to update and upgrade ourselves and our teaching methodology with changing times. This was followed by the first session on Active learning. After this, green welcome accord to Ms. Seema Bajaj (Principal, Remal Public School) was given by Ms. Priyanka Barara (Principal, Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar) along with Ms. Rashi Oberoi (Headmistress, Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar).
Main Objectives of the workshop were to:

In her Vote of thanks, Ms. Priyanka Barara asked the participants to share their key takeaway from today’s sessions in one word each. All the participants were eager and enthusiastic to share their inputs. Overall, the sessions ended with everyone being inspired to learn, grow and work as a team for the benefit of diverse learners.
Dad Reads to Me 2025 - Read2Lead program
To commemorate the birth anniversary of our esteemed Chairman Emeritus, SPS Rajender Nagar organised ‘Dad Reads to Me 2025’ under the Read2Lead programme on 30th & 31st October 2025. The event aimed to nurture early literacy skills, encourage expressive communication, and strengthen the emotional bond between our young learners and their fathers.
The enthusiastic dads from Nursery to Class II stepped into the world of storytelling with great zeal, narrating enchanting tales that transported the children into realms of imagination and wonder. Using creative props, colourful puppets, and lively voice modulation, they brought each story vividly to life. The little ones listened with rapt attention, their faces beaming with excitement and curiosity.
This heartwarming celebration beautifully reflected the power of shared reading, fostering language development, emotional intelligence, and a lifelong love for books. The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving behind cherished memories and reinforcing the importance of spending quality time together through the magic of stories.
E-Waste Awareness Workshop
Salwan Public School conducted a workshop on E-Waste Recycling: Mission LiFE, in collaboration with Green Eco Link Pvt. Ltd to spread awareness about responsible electronic waste management on 13 November 2025 for senior and primary students. As technology evolves rapidly, the session reminded students of the urgent need to reflect on what happens to the gadgets we discard – and how our choices impact the planet.
The resource person, Smt. Anu Arora (parent of an alumnus and representative of Green Eco Link Pvt. Ltd.), addressed the students and highlighted sustainable ways of managing electronic waste through the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Her thought-provoking interaction encouraged students to adopt mindful habits and contribute actively to a greener future.
The workshop empowered students to understand that every small action – repairing, recycling, or reusing – brings us one step closer to safeguarding the environment.
The workshop was a great learning experience, which reinforcement the objective of the mission – Mission LiFE: Lifestyle for Environment!
Inclusive UN 2025 – A Celebration of Inclusion, Culture & Youth Leadership
The Inclusive United Nations 2025, organised by NGO Prateyek, was held on 19 and 20 November 2025 at St. Columba’s School and St. Michael School, bringing together students from various schools, NGOs across India, and delegates from Ireland and the UK.
The two-day event provided students with a platform to understand diversity, human rights, and global citizenship through meaningful interaction and shared experiences. The programme began with an introduction to the philosophy of Prateyek, followed by creative group activities that promote inclusion, equality, and respect. Students participated in cultural exchanges by sharing regional snacks and engaging in discussions on earth rights, human rights, and the Earth Charter.
The second day expanded the intercultural dialogue as international delegates joined thematic groups on Climate Equity, Digital Inclusion & AI Ethics, Peacebuilding, and Education Access, contributing to the first draft of the SDG 2030 proposal.
The students presented their statements, moving collectively to St. Michael for plenaries, and celebrated together through cultural performances. The presence of eminent guests, including Ms Cynthia, UNICEF Representative to India, and Justice Kurian, added significance to the ceremony, during which the newly elected Children’s Parliament took its oath.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem in Sign Language, beautifully capturing the spirit of inclusion, accessibility, and unity that defined the INclusive UN 2025.
Online Exchange Programme with Takaoka Junior High School, Osaka, Japan
Bridging cultures and nurturing global citizenship, Salwanians participated in their second Online Exchange Programme with the students of Takaoka Junior High School, Osaka, Japan, on 10th November 2025. The session, conducted by the World Classroom team, offered a vibrant blend of dialogue, discovery, and joyful collaboration.
Students connected through engaging activities, including interactive introductions and a lively Bingo game themed around fascinating facts about India and Japan. The exchange encouraged learners to appreciate cultural nuances, recognise shared values, and strengthen bonds of international friendship.
A warm exchange of thank-you notes between both schools beautifully concluded this meaningful and enriching experience, reinforcing the spirit of global harmony and collaboration.
Educational Visit to the National Gandhi Museum, Rajghat
Students of the ITIHAAS Club, Class VIII, participated in an enriching educational visit to the National Gandhi Museum, Rajghat, as part of the Social Science Club engagement. The visit aimed at deepening their understanding of Mahatma Gandhi’s life, philosophy, and his pivotal role in India’s freedom struggle.
The day began with an engaging storytelling session led by an ITIHAAS representative, who narrated inspiring episodes from Gandhiji’s life. Students were introduced to his ideals of truth, non-violence, and simplicity through meaningful anecdotes and discussions.
This was followed by a visit to the recreated Gandhi Ashram, wherein students observed the simplicity of Gandhiji’s daily life. Exploring his living space and personal belongings offered valuable insight into how he practiced self-discipline and humility.
At the main museum, students viewed rare photographs, manuscripts, letters, and historic relics showcasing crucial moments of India’s independence movement. The original letters exchanged between Gandhiji and global leaders particularly captivated them.
The Martyrdom Gallery left a profound impact as students learned about the final moments of Gandhiji’s life through an informative talk by the museum guide.
In the Charkha Gallery, students discovered the importance of the spinning wheel in promoting self-reliance and the Swadeshi movement. The visit concluded with a hands-on spinning activity in the Children’s Gallery, providing students with a practical experience of using the Charkha.
The visit was highly informative and inspiring, encouraging students with a deeper appreciation of Gandhiji’s timeless values and his enduring contribution to the nation.
