Republic Day Celebration

Salwan Boys Senior Secondary School celebrated the 77th Republic Day on 24th January under the theme ‘150 years of Vande Mataram’ with immense pride and reverence. The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag by Sh. Naresh Kumar, Offg Incharge, marking a solemn tribute to the spirit of our nation.

The National Anthem followed, filling the atmosphere with a deep sense of pride and unity. Students delivered insightful speeches, evocative poems, and sang patriotic songs, reflecting the essence of India’s rich culture and heritage.

The programme concluded with an inspiring address by Sh. Naresh Kumar, Offg Incharge, who emphasized the importance of knowledge, discipline, responsible citizenship, and respect for constitutional ideals. He encouraged students to uphold the values of democracy and contribute to the nation’s growth.

Republic Day Celebrations

The Republic Day celebration at Salwan Montessori School was a beautiful blend of patriotic spirit and cultural diversity. Parents joined us for a special assembly that thoughtfully highlighted our Rights and Responsibilities. An engaging Nukkad Natak captivated the audience, leaving everyone inspired and informed. The presentation beautifully conveyed how our Constitution guides us to follow rules, respect one another, and act responsibly as good citizens.

Our national symbols took centre stage, filling hearts with pride and reverence. The theme of Unity in Diversity came alive through vibrant and mesmerising dance performances that showcased the rich cultural heritage of our nation.

This meaningful celebration not only honoured the spirit of Republic Day but also helped everyone understand the importance of following rules, fulfilling responsibilities, and contributing positively to society—nurturing a strong sense of pride, unity, and love for India’s diverse cultural tapestry.

Hawan Ceremony for the students of Grades X and XII

On 23 January, Salwan Public School, Gurugram, organised a Hawan for the students of Grades X and XII in preparation for their forthcoming Board Examinations. The sacred ceremony, held on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, a day dedicated to Goddess Saraswati and symbolic of wisdom, learning and new beginnings, was conducted on the school premises in a calm and devotional atmosphere. The event brought together students, teachers and members of the school administration in a shared spirit of prayer and reflection.

The chanting of Vedic mantras filled the surroundings with a sense of peace and spiritual focus. Students participated with faith and quiet attentiveness, seeking inner strength, clarity of thought and confidence as they approached a significant academic milestone. The Hawan offered a moment of collective pause, allowing students to centre themselves amid the demands and pressures of examination preparation.

The ceremony was dedicated to invoking blessings for good health, mental resilience and success. As the prayers concluded, the atmosphere reflected calm assurance and renewed determination among the students.

The Hawan reaffirmed the school’s belief in nurturing not only academic excellence but also emotional balance and inner well-being, offering students strength and serenity as they prepare to face their Board Examinations.

Republic Day and Basant Panchami Celebrations

SPSMV celebrated the 77th Republic Day along with Basant Panchami on Friday, 26 January 2026, with great devotion and enthusiasm. The celebration began with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra dedicated to Goddess Saraswati. Students listened to a brief talk on the significance of Basant Panchami and offered a heartfelt ode to Saraswati Maa.
The importance of Republic Day and the adoption of the Indian Constitution was highlighted. To enhance students’ understanding, a video on the making of the Indian Constitution was shown in classrooms. Cultural presentations added vibrancy to the programme, including songs, dance, and poetry by the students. Your address inspired the students to uphold constitutional values and strive for excellence.
A proud highlight of the celebration was the visit of 45 personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The flag hoisting ceremony was conducted in the presence of the CRPF personnel, followed by their powerful recitation of ‘Vande Mataram’.

Havan Ceremony

The school organized a Havan ceremony for the students of Classes X and XII on Thursday, 12 February 2026, to invoke the blessings of the Almighty for their upcoming Board Examinations.

The students participated in the sacred ritual with devotion and sincerity. The ceremony created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere, instilling confidence and positivity among the students.

Following the Havan, important tips and guidelines for the Board Examinations were shared to help students prepare effectively and approach the exams with clarity and focus. Admit cards for the upcoming Board Examinations were also issued on the same day.

The ceremony concluded on a hopeful and encouraging note, with blessings and best wishes for the success of all board aspirants.

Republic Day and Basant Panchami Celebrations

Salwan Public School organised a special assembly on 23 January 2026 to commemorate the auspicious festival of Basant Panchami and Republic Day. The programme was conducted with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour, beautifully reflecting India’s rich cultural heritage and constitutional values.

The assembly began with the flag unfurling ceremony led by Director Major General Sanjeev Shukla, Ms. Jyotsna Grover, Vice Principal, and Ms. Rashi Oberoi, Head Mistress. This was followed by National Anthem, which filled the atmosphere with a deep sense of pride and unity.

A speech highlighting the significance of Basant Panchami symbolising knowledge, wisdom, and new beginnings was delivered by a student.bTo seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, students presented a serene Saraswati Vandana. The programme also featured a soulful patriotic song that stirred feelings of national pride amongst all. A vibrant unity and patriotic dance depicted the spirit of harmony and national integration. This was followed by a podcast dedicated to the makers of the Indian Constitution, enabling students to understand and appreciate the vision, values, and sacrifices of its framers.

The students and staff also took a Road Safety Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to responsible behaviour on roads and to spread awareness about traffic safety within their families and communities. The assembly concluded with the address by Ms. Jyotsna Grover, Vice Principal, who emphasised the importance of knowledge, discipline, responsible citizenship, and respect for constitutional ideals.

Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti Celebration

On 23rd January 2026, the school celebrated the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The program was designed to educate students on Netaji’s pivotal role in India’s independence movement. Through informative videos and a study of his iconic slogans, students explored themes of courage and patriotism, gaining a deeper understanding of his contribution to the national freedom struggle.

Salwanians Excel at Uttar Pradesh Diwas 2026

On Saturday, 24 January 2026, the students of Salwan Public School delivered a stellar performance at the Uttar Pradesh Diwas celebrations, organized by the Zila Prashasan, Ghaziabad. The event, centered on the theme of national and state progress, was graced by Shri Narendra Kashyap, Hon’ble MLA, as the Chief Guest.

The program commenced with a spiritually uplifting invocation featuring the school choir and dance troupe. Their disciplined synchronization and soulful music were widely acclaimed by the audience. Furthermore, Salwanians curated a sophisticated foyer exhibition that showcased the state’s rich heritage, traditional arts, and recent development milestones. Overall, the event was a proud reflection of the students’ teamwork and cultural awareness, successfully bridging the gap between tradition and the vision of a “Viksit Bharat.”
