Annual Presentation: ‘अजेय पुरुषोत्तम श्रीराम’

On Wednesday, 15 October 2025, the students of KG–II participated in the Annual Presentation –‘अजेय पुरुषोत्तम श्रीराम’, a heartfelt celebration that beautifully brought the timeless epic of the Ramayana to life through a vibrant musical play.

The morning commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the esteemed dignitaries, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the beginning of an auspicious day. The event began with a welcome song by the young performers, whose cheerful voices filled the ambience with warmth and joy. This was followed by a graceful dance performance on Ram Stuti, evoking a serene and devotional atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the rest of the programme.

The centrepiece of the celebration was the theatrical presentation that traced the journey of Lord Ram. The children captivated the audience with expressive dialogues, soulful music and graceful performances. The play, depicting Lord Ram’s childhood, his exile and his triumph over adversity, was recreated with colourful costumes, rhythmic movements, and a sincere sense of devotion.

Shri Bharat Salhotra, the school Chairman and Smt. Ritu Salhotra, graced the occasion as the Chief Guests, adding prestige and warmth to the event. In his address, Shri Bharat Salhotra extended heartfelt appreciation to the students for their spirited performances and expressed gratitude to the dedicated teachers who guided them. Their encouraging words resonated with pride and inspiration.

The celebration was more than a display of talent; it was a collective expression of faith, creativity, and togetherness. The day reflected the school’s enduring commitment to holistic learning and cultural values, leaving a lasting impression on every student, parent, and staff members present.

Celebrating Diversity, Inspiring Peace

Four Class XI students of SPSMV, accompanied by Mr Vinod Nautiyal, PGT Physics and Ms Shalini Mazumdar, PGT English, attended the programme ‘Celebrating Diversity, Inspiring Peace’ on Saturday, 18 October 2025 at The Aravali, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. Eminent speakers Dr Karan Singh, statesman and scholar, and Mr Satish Kumar, global peace ambassador, inspired youth to embrace peace, harmony, and self-awareness. The enriching experience left students deeply motivated to contribute towards a more compassionate world. 

Indo-Russian Space Event, Russian Centre of Science and Culture

On the occasion of World Space Week, three students of Class XI and Smt. Romita, TGT Science, attended the Indo-Russian Space Event at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture, Mandi House, on Friday, 10 October 2025. The programme began with a welcome address by Dr. Elena Remizova, Director of the Centre. Students interacted with Cosmonaut Denis Matveev, a Russian engineer and flight engineer of the Soyuz MS-21 mission launched on 12 April, 2022. He shared his experiences about daily routines, scientific experiments, and spacewalks aboard the International Space Station. His interaction offered an inspiring glimpse into human space exploration and the dedication it requires.

Interactive workshop: ‘Choosing Strength – No Room for Bullying, No Room for Drugs’

On Thursday, 16 October 2025, Shri Upadhyay Bala Sankram, SHO Ghazipur, visited the school as part of his routine round and conducted an interactive workshop titled ‘Choosing Strength – No Room for Bullying, No Room for Drugs’.

Students of Classes X and XI attended the session, which aimed to create awareness about making positive choices and staying safe. Shri Upadhyay spoke in detail about the ill effects of substance use, highlighting how these can negatively impact both health and future prospects. He also emphasised the importance of following legal guidelines, particularly avoiding the use of scooters, motorcycles, or any motorized vehicles before the age of 18, to ensure personal safety.

The session also covered social issues such as bullying and harassment, encouraging students to speak up and seek help whenever needed. Shri Upadhyay guided the students on whom to contact in emergencies and explained the proper use of the 911 helpline number.

The visit successfully reinforced the message of making responsible choices, staying aware, and supporting each other in creating a safe and healthy environment.

Pollution Awareness Rally

A Pollution Awareness Rally, to promote an eco-friendly Diwali, was organised by the students of Classes IV and V on Thursday, 16 October 2025. The rally aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of firecrackers on the environment and public health. Students participated enthusiastically, holding posters and placards with messages encouraging the use of eco-friendly alternatives such as cleaning and decorating homes, beautifying surroundings, and sharing sweets and clothes with the needy.

Participants took a round of the Primary Wing, visiting classrooms and corridors while raising slogans that promoted clean air and a green Diwali. The rally successfully spread the message of celebrating Diwali in a responsible and eco-conscious manner, inspiring the entire school community to adopt greener practices.

शुभकामना पत्र निर्माण गतिविधि

दिनांक 13 अक्टूबर 2025 को विद्यालय में ‘शुभकामना पत्र निर्माण गतिविधि’ का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें कक्षा छठी से आठवीं के विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।

इस गतिविधि का मुख्य उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में संस्कृत भाषा के प्रति रुझान विकसित करना, उनके भाषा-कौशल को प्रोत्साहित करना तथा आत्मविश्वास का विकास करना था।

इस गतिविधि के माध्यम से न केवल विद्यार्थियों के आत्मविश्वास में वृद्धि हुई, बल्कि उनकी चिंतन-क्षमता और आत्म-अभिव्यक्ति की दक्षता का भी विकास हुआ। उन्हें स्वयं को प्रभावी ढंग से प्रस्तुत करने का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ, जिससे उनके व्यक्तित्व विकास में भी सहायता मिली।
