Dr. (Smt.) Indu Khetarpal
Dr. Indu Khetarpal is a distinguished educationist, academic leader and policy advisor with over four decades of experience in school education, educational leadership and institutional development. She currently serves as Consultant for Pilot Projects at the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), after completing a successful tenure as Senior Advisor at the National Testing Agency (NTA), Government of India. Earlier, she led Salwan Public School, Gurugram and Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, as Principal for over two decades, fostering innovation, excellence and holistic development.
A recipient of the National Award for Teachers (2005), Dr. Khetarpal has also been honoured with the State Level Computer Literacy Excellence Award, the Australian Government’s Endeavour Executive Award, the NCERT Award for Innovative Practices and the National School Sanitation Award.
Dr. Khetarpal has made significant contributions to NCERT, CBSE and NIEPA through curriculum development, textbook writing, research, policy formulation and capacity building. She has authored scholarly publications, co-authored books, presented papers at leading national and international conferences, and has represented India at International Confederation of Principals (ICP) conventions across the globe. A respected mentor and trainer, she has played a pivotal role in shaping educational leadership, teacher development and school transformation, while spearheading numerous international exchange programmes and collaborative educational initiatives.
