Major General Sanjeev Shukla VSM (Retd.)

Major General Sanjeev Shukla was commissioned as an officer in 1978. His civil academic qualification include B.Sc., M.Sc. and MBA. His military qualifications include courses in Electronics, weapons, Nuclear, Chemical and Biological warfare and tank technology. To his credit, he topped most of these courses. He has also attended the highly competitive and prestigious staff college at Wellington and the Higher Defence Management course at Secunderabad. He has served with United Nations in Central America and has been an Instructor for imparting training/education for over two decades. He is an expert on ‘weapon acquisition’ for Indian Armed Forces and is a recipient of ‘Vishisht Seva Medal’ from the President of India.

Apart from rich operational experience, he has extensive experience of handling schools, colleges and institutions having been commander of school armoured warfare. Deputy Commandant of Armoured Corps Centre and School and Additional Director General, National Cadet Corps of Gujarat, Daman, Diu and Dadar Haveli. In his last appointment, 7 Vice Chancellors and almost 150 Principals and Heads were interacting with him for NCC training. He joined Salwan Education Trust on superannuation after nearly 4 decades of dedicated service in the Armed Forces with a mission to inculcate in our youth, who are tomorrow’s leaders, a spirit of patriotism, courage, discipline and sacrifice.
