Desh Aur Hum 3.0: Igniting Young Minds, Inspiring a Nation

Held on January 17, 2025, at the Kedarnath Sahani Auditorium, New Delhi, the event brought together achievers, educators, and dignitaries, creating an atmosphere brimming with pride and inspiration.
The felicitation of the winners was a proud moment, reflecting the spirit of achievement and perseverance that the programme seeks to inspire.
The Chief Guest’s address provided valuable insights and motivation, encouraging the students to embrace innovation and continue making impactful contributions.
The event also honoured the contributions of SET Office Bearers, Judges, and Orientation Partners, whose efforts were integral to the programme’s success. The announcement of the Rolling Trophy winner was a particularly exciting moment, symbolising the culmination of hard work and collaborative spirit.
This event was not only a celebration, but also a reaffirmation of the power of youth, creativity, and collaboration to drive meaningful change.

Japan on Canvas Painting Competition
Yashashvi Pawar and Anshul Patwal made the school proud by their exemplary performance in ‘Japan on Canvas Painting Competition’ held on. Out of a staggering 5237 entries from 219 schools across India, Yashashvi of class ………… clinched the Outstanding Performance Award, while Anshul of class ….. earned the Consolation Award in Japan On Canvas 2024 – 10th National Level Painting Competition.

National Level Psychology Quiz
The National Level Psychology Quiz, held on ………….., brought together some of the brightest young minds from across the country, with students from 41 schools participating in this prestigious competition. The quiz provided an excellent platform for students in classes 11th and 12th to demonstrate their passion and expertise in the field of psychology.
Our students showcased their enthusiasm and their strong commitment to academic excellence. Among these participants, three of our students secured positions in the top 10, marking a significant achievement and underlining the hard work they’ve put into mastering the subject.
In recognition of our students’ outstanding performance and the overall quality of our psychology programme, our school was honoured with the title of “Best Psychology Department.” This accolade is a testament to the continuous efforts of both our students and faculty in nurturing a deep understanding of psychology. Furthermore, Ms. Gunjan, our dedicated psychology teacher, was awarded the prestigious title of “Best Psychology Teacher.”

Republic Day Celebration at Salwan Public School Ghaziabad
The 76th Republic Day was celebrated at Salwan Public School Ghaziabad with a patriotic gaiety and fervour. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. The event began with the hoisting of the Indian National Flag followed by the National Anthem.
A skit on the Constitution and its amendments was also held, highlighting the importance of democratic values. The event further featured heartfelt patriotic poems, recited with zeal and emotion, which deeply moved the audience.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal encouraged the students to imbibe in themselves the ideals of Justice, liberty, Equality, Fraternity and Unity in Diversity. The entire programme was a huge success and the chanting of patriotic slogan ‘Jai Hind’ echoed in the entire campus and left an everlasting mark on all.

Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti Celebrations
The school commemorated the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, a true patriot and revolutionary leader on ………. Through this event, students were awakened to the immense contributions of Bose in India’s freedom struggle. Interactive sessions shed light on his role as a charismatic leader and his efforts in establishing the Indian National Army.
To mark the occasion, students enthusiastically participated in activities such as poster-making and slogan-writing, showcasing their creativity and paying homage to his ideals of bravery and patriotism. These activities not only celebrated Bose’s legacy but also instilled a sense of nationalism and dedication among the young minds.
Uttar Pradesh Sthapna Diwas
The school celebrated Uttar Pradesh Sthapna Diwas with great fervor, highlighting the rich cultural and geographical diversity of the state on 24th January 2025. Students were introduced to the geographical features of Uttar Pradesh, exploring its diverse topography, rivers, and natural resources.
The event also celebrated the cultural richness of Uttar Pradesh through discussions on its traditional art forms, cuisine, festivals, and historical significance. Students were encouraged to embrace and respect the unity in diversity that this vibrant state represents.
