Eco Club of SPSMV organised an awareness workshop for VI students on ‘Effects of Climate Change on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services’ in partnership with TERI and Department of Environment, on Tuesday, 18 November 2025. Resource person, Ms. Yogita Gunwant, a Forestry Master’s graduate from Kumaun University and TERI intern, introduced the program with a film and a PPT, along with pre‑ and post‑questionnaires to gauge understanding of the students. A poster competition was held and three top entries were selected. Participants gained insight into climate‑driven biodiversity loss and ecosystem services and expressed commitment to environmental stewardship. The event concluded with appreciation for TERI’s support and resource person’s engaging session, inspiring environmental champions.
