Smt. Sona Gombar

With over two decades of experience, Smt. Sona Gombar is a dynamic education leader. She champions inclusive, child-centric learning environments that foster creativity, critical thinking, and holistic development.

An accomplished educator and thought leader, she has contributed significantly to the education sector through innovative curriculum design, impactful workshops, and research. A published author in early childhood education journals, she has also organised and participated in national and international conferences, including representing Salwan Education Trust at the ICP Convention in Kenya.

Her work spans key areas such as ECCE, design thinking, digital-age learning, and sustainability. Recognised for excellence, she has received multiple honours, including the Global Pinnacle Education Award for Best Principal, Sustainability Super Star recognition, the Chairperson’s Honor Award, and multiple Best Teacher Awards.

Previously, she led academic operations for middle and secondary grades, overseeing a large team and nearly 2000 students. Her leadership strengthened academic standards, enhanced faculty development, and fostered a collaborative, future-ready school culture.
