An enlightening Arogya Yojna and Viksit Bharat Workshop was organised on Tuesday, 19 August 2025, at Satya School, Sector 49, Gurugram, under the aegis of the 5 Haryana Battalion NCC, Gurugram, in collaboration with Arogya Bharati. CBSE Yogasana Championship
The Sub-Junior U-14 Boys’ Yogasana Team of SPS MV participated in the CBSE Yogasana Clusters-XX Championship held on 29 August 2025 and 31 August 2025 at ASN Sr. Secondary School, Mayur Vihar-I, Delhi. Dev Kumar (VI A) secured the Third Position in the Individual Artistic Event, bringing laurels to the school. The team members who represented the school with dedication and skill were Dev Kumar (VI A), Ravish Kr. Gupta (VI B), Chirag (VI B), and Pranav Nagar (VI C). The achievement reflected commitment, discipline, and excellence in Yogasana.
Zonal Basketball Championship
Students of Salwan Public school, Mayur Vihar got the opportunity to participate in Zonal Basketball Championship for Girls hosted by the Ahlcon International School. It provided a platform to perform their skills and compete against the best teams from East Delhi. The students demonstrated commendable efforts, dedication and determination. They participated in all three categories and won positions in two of them.
The Sub-Junior Girls’ Team emerged as Champions, securing 1st position, while the Junior Girls’ Team earned a commendable 3rd position. The Senior Girls’ Team put up a spirited performance but lost their first-round match.
A total of 14 school teams participated in the championship.
National Computer Literacy Competition – Visually Impaired Students
Three visually impaired students of SPSMV participated in the 4th National Computer Literacy Competition organised by Saksham and HCL. Among them, Hari Om of Class XI secured the First Prize in the Senior Category. Their success exemplifies resilience, courage, and excellence beyond challenges.
CBSE Chess Clusters
The CBSE Chess Cluster Under-14, 17 & 19 Boys Championship was held at DPS R.K. Puram, Sector-12, New Delhi, from 18 to 21 August 2025, where SPSMV participated with three teams:
- Under-14 category, the team comprising Atharv Shahi (class VI), Samrat Sharma (class VII), Ayansh Singh Bhadouria (class VIII) and Aarav Upadhyay (class VIII) competed among 97 teams and secured the 30th position, with a performance of 2 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses.
- Under-17 category, represented by Krishiv Gupta (class IX), Aayush Kushwaha (class X), Akshaj Singla (class X) and Anshuman Mishra (class X), the team stood 18th among 107 teams, achieving 4 wins and 2 losses.
- The Under-19 category, with Divit Raheja (class X), Adarsh Bhatt (class X), Atharv Goswami (class X) and Krit Kumar Kedia (class XI), attained the 15th position out of 72 teams, with 3 wins, 1 draw, and 2 losses. The tournament provided students with valuable exposure, enhancing their skills, focus, and competitive spirit.
Delhi State Yoga Championship
The Delhi State Yoga Championship was held from Monday, 04 August 2025 to Wednesday, 06 August 2025. SPSMV was represented by Ananya Bisht, Dev Kumar, and Niketa Mavi from Classes IV to VI. Showing outstanding performance, Dev Kumar secured the First Position and has qualified for the National Championship to be held in Mysore, Karnataka, in October 2025, bringing great pride to the institution.
District Yoganasa Championship (Artistic Presentation)
The District Yoganasa Championship was organised at Sanvodaya Vidyalaya, Mukherjee Nagar on 31 August 2025. Advita Taneja of Class VII of SPSMV represented the school in the Sub-Junior Artistic Event and secured the Second Position. Her achievement added glory to the school and reflected her dedication and hard work.
