State-Level Science Exhibition: A Proud Moment for Salwan Boys Sr. Sec. School

Salwan Boys Senior Secondary School marked a moment of pride and innovation as three of its student-led projects were showcased at prestigious state-level platforms. Two outstanding projects—“Cool Zone” and “Dehumidifier Bottle”—were selected for the State-Level INSPIRE MANAK Awards Exhibition, celebrating creativity and scientific temper among young minds.

In parallel, the school’s project “UVita Panel” earned a place at the State-Level Science Exhibition organised by the Department of Education, NCT of Delhi. These selections reflect the school’s commitment to fostering hands-on learning and problem-solving through STEM education.

The exhibitions were graced by Ms. Veditha Reddy, Director of Education, Delhi, who interacted with the participants and lauded their innovative ideas. The presence of senior scientists from NCERT and the Science Centre, Delhi, added further prestige to the event. Winners were felicitated with medals and prizes by Ms. Reddy, in a ceremony that celebrated youthful ingenuity and scientific curiosity.

The programme concluded on a high note with a science-themed magic show, where each illusion was demystified through scientific explanation, leaving the audience both amazed and enlightened. These achievements not only brought accolades to the school but also inspired the entire student community to dream, design, and discover.

Global Sloka Competition

The Global Sloka Competition, organised by the Heartfulness Education Trust in association with the Shri Ram Chandra Mission, was held on 15 November 2025 in an online mode. The event aimed to promote India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage among young learners while enhancing their confidence, pronunciation, and presentation skills.

Students from various schools across the country participated enthusiastically in the competition. The event was conducted category-wise, allowing students of different age groups to showcase their talent. Participants recorded and uploaded their sloka recitation videos on the official online platform, ensuring wide participation and smooth conduct of the competition.

Our school students actively took part and demonstrated commendable dedication and discipline. In the Delhi Region, Paviksha Bhatia brought great pride to the school by being declared the Winner of the competition. Adding to this remarkable achievement, Ridhaan Luthra received the Special Jury Award for his outstanding performance. Several other participants were honoured with Participation Certificates, acknowledging their sincere efforts.

The competition proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience, encouraging students to connect with traditional values while embracing digital learning platforms.

Meritorious Student and Teacher Felicitation Ceremony – Hindi And Sanskrit

The Hindustani Bhasha Academy organised the Meritorious Student and Teacher Felicitation Ceremony on Monday, 15 December 2025 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre to honour Class X CBSE students of the 2024–25 session who had scored 90% and above in Hindi and Sanskrit. A total of 27 students (21 in Hindi and 6 in Sanskrit) of SPSMV were awarded. Three students, who secured 100% marks in Sanskrit, were conferred the Bhasha Ratna title. Ms.Meenakshi Arora HoD Hindi and Dr. Neeru Sharma, TGT Sanskrit, were also felicitated for outstanding academic results.

Inspire Manak Awards – Student Innovation Showcase

Vaibhav Singh and Raghav Garg of Class XI represented SPSMV at the INSPIRE MANAK Awards on 10 December 2025, held at Thyagaraj Stadium, wherein they presented their innovative model titled ‘Pleasing Paws’. The project reflected creativity, problem-solving skills and a scientific approach towards innovation. Their participation at this prestigious national-level platform provided valuable exposure to young innovators. Both students were awarded participation certificates in recognition of their efforts and engagement, marking a commendable achievement and encouraging further exploration in the field of innovation and research.

Outstanding Performance in Quest South Asia’s Largest Quiz

Following the preliminary round of Quest – South Asia’s Largest Quiz held on Monday, 01 December 2025, 20 students from SPSMV qualified for the second round, of which 16 participated at Indirapuram Public School, Ghaziabad. Four students advanced to the final round and secured commendable positions. In the Senior Division, Krishiv Gupta and Aarav Mewari of class IX achieved the 5th position, while in the Junior Division, Vrisangan Thakur of class VI and Shubhav Joshi of class VIII also secured the 5th position. Their performance reflects strong general awareness, analytical skills and academic excellence.

Salwan Public School Participants Shine at National ‘Desh Ratna’ Event

In alignment with our school’s vision to foster national pride and cultural excellence, 13 talented students from Classes V to VIII represented Salwan Public School, TDSC at the prestigious ‘Desh Ratna’ Award Programme on 23rd December 2025. The event was organised by the Bhartiya Yuva Welfare Association with the support of the Ministry of Labour and Employment to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of former Prime MInister of India, Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The event was graced by distinguished leaders, including Union Cabinet Minister, Sh. Rajnath Singh, Sh. Raghuraj Singh, and Sh. Chirag Paswan.

Our students captivated the audience with a graceful and devotional rendition of Ganesh Vandana. Their performance was a perfect blend of discipline and artistic finesse, receiving widespread appreciation from the dignitaries and the audience alike. This experience provided them with a unique opportunity to connect with India’s leadership and cultural heritage, further strengthening our mission to nurture the “Desh Ratnas” of tomorrow.

Our students showcased their artistic skills in the National Swachhata Art Competition, organised by the National Education and Human Resource Development Organisation (NEHRDO) in October. They demonstrated exceptional artistic talent and a deep understanding of the “Swachh Bharat” vision, leading to outstanding results:

  • First++ Award:7 students were recognised with this top-tier honor for their exemplary artwork.
  • First+ Award:34 students received this prestigious distinction.
  • National Qualifiers:These 41 award-winning students have earned the honour of representing our school in the Second Round of the national competition, scheduled for January 2026.

Salwan Rajendra Nagar Wins Best Delegation at SAMUN 2025

Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar won the Best School Delegation Trophy at SAMUN 2025, held at Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar. The two-day conference hosted students from various schools engaged in committee sessions, moderated debates, and diplomatic negotiations on key global concerns. SPS Rajendra Nagar’s delegation showcased outstanding research, confident diplomacy, and clear public speaking. Their teamwork, effective crisis management, and well-structured policy inputs were widely appreciated by the Executive Board and participating delegates.

Yohan Khatri Wins First Prize in Origami Competition

Yohan Khatri of Class IV-B secured the First Position in the Junior Solo Category in the Origami Competition themed “Sacred Folds: Yamato Meets Bharat.”
The event was hosted by Tagore International School in collaboration with the Japan Embassy, providing a wonderful platform for young learners to explore and appreciate global art traditions. Yohan’s creation stood out for its originality, precision, and artistic expression.
His exceptional folding skills and creative artistry beautifully reflected the fusion of Indian and Japanese cultural elements, leaving a lasting impression on the judges and audience alike.

Students of Salwan Public School, RN, demonstrated their exceptional artistic talent at the On-the-Spot Painting Competition organised by Ramjas School, Anand Parbat, in December 2024–25. The event offered a vibrant platform for young artists to express their creativity and imagination.

The felicitation ceremony, held on  December 8, 2025–26, celebrated the remarkable achievements of all participants. The school secured ten positions across various categories and was honoured with the Best School Trophy, reflecting the consistent dedication and excellence of our students and art faculty.
