44th North Zone Shooting Championship (Pistol) 2025
The skilled shooters of Salwan Public School, Trans Delhi Signature City, showcased exemplary precision and concentration at the 44th North Zone Shooting Championship (Pistol) 2025, held from 3rd to 17th October 2025 at the Trishul Shooting Range, Ranjhanwala, Dehradun.
The prestigious championship, organized by the National Rifle Association of India, brought together the finest shooters from across North India to compete in various categories. The seven young Salwanians displayed remarkable calmness, discipline, and focus throughout the tournament, earning praise from coaches and spectators alike.
Among the talented participants, four of the seven Salwanians — Vedansh Choudhary, Surya Tomar, Pari Jain, and Archita Dwivedi — achieved outstanding scores and successfully qualified for the National Shooting Championship.

Guided by Mr Aman Gupta, under the Shell NXplorers program implemented by Learning Links Foundation, the team gained national recognition and proudly presented their project before renowned international and national delegates.

Filtrowell is a comprehensive water purification solution created to address one of the most critical challenges faced by humanity-lack of safe and reliable access to clean drinking water. It is based on layered filtration design that integrates natural and effective materials to ensure the highest quality of purified water. The main components of filtration process includes Fine Sand Layer, Ceramic Stones, Activated Carbon Layer, Gravel Layer, Seaweed. The Filtrowell operates using a simple handpump mechanism.

Salwan Girls Senior Secondary School ranked 6th in Delhi NCR and 4th in Delhi.
𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲!
A two-day National-level World Robot Olympiad was organized in Hyderabad by the India STEM Foundation. Our project “Sarbot”, an autonomous search and rescue robot, was showcased among 100 selected projects from across the country after qualifying at the regional level.
The robot will aid disaster survivors by enabling faster rescues, protect rescue teams using an MQ135 gas sensor for CO₂, a thermal sensor with AI camera for human presence, and an ultrasonic sensor with servo motor for obstacle avoidance. On detecting a survivor, it sends GPS coordinates via GSM and alerts rescuers, reducing risk and speeding up rescue.

4th Ranking Delhi State Table Tennis Tournament
Daksh Kumar of Class XI brought laurels to SPSMV by securing Second Position in the 4th Ranking Delhi State Table Tennis Tournament held at Bharti Public School, Swasthya Vihar, from 16 to 19 October 2025. He won the Silver Medal in the Boys’ Singles (U-17) category.
National Gymnastics Championship
Ashnoor Kaur of Class VII of SPSMV has been selected to represent Delhi in the upcoming National Gymnastics Championship to be held at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. She earned this achievement after successfully qualifying at the Delhi Amateur Gymnastics Association (DAGA) National Selection Trials held on Wednesday, 24 September 2025 at Dwarka, Delhi.
SPS MV Students Excel at Wartex #11.0
Ten students from Classes VI to XII of SPS MV participated in Wartex #11.0, an inter-school technology fest organised by Shaheed Rajpal D.A.V. Public School, Dayanand Vihar, Delhi on Friday, 17 October 2025. The team comprised:

Ananya Sharma qualified for Nanhi Chhaan Finals
Salwan Public School takes immense pride in sharing that Ananya Sharma (Class XI) has qualified for the Finals of the 12th Nanhi Chhaan National School Essay Contest, 2025, organised by the Nanhi Chhaan Foundation. The event will be held at Royal Global School, Guwahati, Assam, on November 2 and 3, 2025, and will witness participation from reputed schools across India.
The contest aims to promote awareness and sensitivity towards social and environmental issues among young minds. The two-day event will comprise the essay writing round on November 2, followed by the final event and award ceremony on November 3. The final round will include a question and answer session and a group discussion on the theme “Girls and Women, a Force for Viksit Bharat.”
The event will be graced by Sh. Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of Communications and Minister of Development of North East, as the Chief Guest. The top 15 students and the winning school will be felicitated with cash prizes and exciting gifts.

Asian International Taekwondo Championship 2025 Achievement
Salwan Public School is proud to share the outstanding achievement of Navya Sikka, an alumna who has been passionately training in Taekwondo for the past six years. Representing India at the Asian International Taekwondo Championship 2025 held in Hyderabad, Navya bagged the Gold Medal for India.

World Palliative Care & Hospice Day Celebration
To mark World Palliative Care and Hospice Day, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital hosted a national-level online event on the theme “Compassionate Care for All.” The initiative highlighted the importance of empathy, comfort, and dignity for those facing life-limiting illnesses.
Students from Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar participated as part of the school’s Community Outreach Programme. Through photography, artwork, and special prize categories, they portrayed the true spirit of care and humanity.

The young tech stars, Atharv Behki, Zara Dham, and Hridhaan Malkani of Class IV brought pride to the school by securing the First Prize in the Digital Skit – Online Safety Avengers at Technovanza 11.0, an interschool technology festival hosted by Bal Bharti Public School, Ganga Ram Hospital Marg, on 17th October 2025.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 32 renowned schools across Delhi-NCR. Amidst such impressive competition, our students stood out with their creative, engaging, and impactful digital skit. Through imaginative storytelling and confident performance, they successfully conveyed a strong and relevant message on Online Safety, emphasising responsible digital behaviour and cybersecurity awareness among young learners.
