Aero bins Project Handover and Recognition Ceremony
The Aero bins Project Handover and Recognition Ceremony was successfully conducted on Friday, 17 April 2026, in the presence of members of IPCA and the WMC Committee.
The ceremony marked the formal handover of the Aero bins project for sustainable solid waste management. During the event, Mr Sahib Gambhir, Project Coordinator at the Indian Pollution Control Association, outlined the subsequent procedures and guided the team on the effective use and maintenance of the Aero bins system.
The programme also included the distribution of certificates to acknowledge the efforts and contributions of all those involved in the successful implementation of the project.
Earth Day Special podcast sessions
Earth Day special podcast sessions were successfully recorded on the school premises by SPS MV on Wednesday, 15 April 2026. The first session featured Shri Rakesh Khatri, environmentalist, who spoke on the importance of bird conservation, while the second session with Dr Shyamli Singh highlighted the significance of water conservation.
The podcast was recorded in collaboration with alumnus Sarfaraz and his team, and was anchored by two students from Classes XI and XII. Students of Class XI also had the opportunity to observe the entire recording process, which proved to be enriching for them.
Future Tech Olympiad 2025
Krishnansh Sharma from class VII, has secured the Silver Medal, while Aarav Negi from Class VII and Abhedha Gupta from class XII, have secured Gold Medals in the Future Tech Olympiad 2025. Organised by CBSE in collaboration with IBM, the Olympiad is a national-level platform that recognises students’ proficiency in emerging technologies and future-ready skills. SPS MV takes pride in their commendable achievement and academic excellence.
INSPIRE Awards – MANAK Scheme
Divit Raheja of Class X, and Korounganba Ayekpam of Class VIII, from SPS MV have been selected for the prestigious INSPIRE Awards – MANAK scheme. In recognition of their innovative ideas, each student has been awarded a seed grant of ₹10,000 to further develop their science projects.
Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MMVPP) 225
Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MMVPP) Government Scholarship Examination 2025, is a state level exam that has been successfully qualified by Krishiv Gupta and Hardik Garg of class IX from SPS MV. Both students have been awarded a scholarship of ₹5000 each in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.
Students Showcase Art at Rwanda Genocide Commemoration Event
Students from SPS MV made a meaningful contribution at the 32nd Commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on Tuesday, 07 April 2026. Organised by the High Commission of Rwanda in collaboration with the United Nations Information Centre, the event honoured victims while promoting awareness about the dangers of hatred, violence, and intolerance.
As part of the programme, students showcased their artwork in a curated exhibition. Their paintings, reflecting themes of humanity, suffering, hope, and global harmony, were widely appreciated for their depth and sensitivity. They also engaged with exhibits from other schools and attended insightful sessions encouraging reflection on peace and coexistence.
The Hon’ble High Commissioner commended the students’ efforts, making it a proud moment for the school. The experience enriched students’ understanding of global history while reinforcing values of compassion, tolerance, and responsible citizenship.
वनवैभव: Little Guardians of Nature – A Joyous Graduation Celebration
Graduation Day for the Nursery students was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Wednesday, 11 March 2025. The event was beautifully themed ‘वनवैभव: Nurturing Bond with Nature’, focusing on fostering awareness about environmental protection while highlighting Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13 – Climate Action and SDG 15 – Life on Land.
The programme commenced with a delightful Graduation Song presented by the young learners, filling the atmosphere with joy and pride. This was followed by a thoughtfully curated thematic play, in which the students conveyed the vital message of conserving forests through meaningful dialogues and expressive actions, followed by energetic dance performances, all centred around the theme of environmental conservation.

This highly competitive platform witnessed participation from over 5,00,000 students across 1000+ institutions, making it one of the largest AI-based competitions in the country.

Siddhangana of Class XII excels at NextGen Youth Summit
Siddhangana of Class XII F from Salwan Public School, RN, showcased exemplary leadership as she represented the school as Deputy Secretary General at the NextGen Youth Summit, held at Miranda House on 18 and 19 April 2026.
Taking on a Secretariat role of this scale for the first time, she coordinated closely with the Executive Board and delegates, ensuring the smooth functioning of proceedings while skillfully managing multiple responsibilities. This summit was a platform for growth, which helped in sharpening her administrative acumen and offering deep insights into the dynamics of high-level conference management.
Outstanding Performance by Students in MVPP Scholarship 2025–26
Four students of Class IX brought pride to the school by qualifying for the Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP) Scholarship 2025–26. Their commendable performance in the examination reflects their dedication, perseverance, and strong academic abilities.
Among the qualifiers, Nimit Yadav secured the total score of 168 with 84%, achieving Rank 26. Gurnoor Singh scored 159 marks with 79.50% and secured Rank 35. Utkarsh Gupta followed closely with 158 marks, achieving 79% and Rank 36. Sarika Meena also performed well, securing 122 marks with 61.06% and attaining Rank 72.

International Art Exhibition Participation
On 7th April 2026, Class XII students represented the school at an international art exhibition held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event, organized by the High Commission of Rwanda and the United Nations Information Centre, commemorated the 32nd anniversary of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Three students presented their artworks and discussed themes of peace and human values with the High Commissioner of Rwanda.
