Senior Wing Investiture Ceremony 2026–2027
The Investiture Ceremony was held at Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar on 16 July 2026, to formally confer leadership responsibilities upon the newly selected Senior Student Council. The ceremony was graced by Shri Bharat Salhotra, Chairperson, Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, as the Chief Guest. The programme commenced with a melodious musical presentation featuring ‘Believe’ and ‘Tu Dhoop Hai’, followed by an engaging TED-style presentation showcasing an innovative Automated Farming System STEM project. A total of 84 student leaders were formally invested with badges, while the outgoing Student Council ceremonially handed over the School and House Flags to their successors, symbolising the seamless transition of leadership. The ceremony concluded with the Promises by the Head Boy and Head Girl, reaffirming their commitment to lead with integrity, responsibility and dedication.

Visit to Jim Corbett and Nainital
The students of Classes VI and VII of Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar embarked on an exciting and memorable excursion to the picturesque destinations of Jim Corbett and Nainital, accompanied by four teachers from 20 to 23 May 2026. The trip proved to be a perfect blend of adventure, learning, fun, and togetherness.
The journey began with cheerful moments at the poolside, where students enthusiastically enjoyed refreshing activities with their friends. They also enjoyed an adventurous jungle safari in the serene wilderness of Jim Corbett. Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, students were thrilled to witness fascinating wildlife, including sambhar deer, wild elephants, the majestic Great Hornbill, and several other animals in their natural habitat.
The evening came alive with music and laughter as students enjoyed an energetic DJ night, creating joyful memories with their peers.
The following day, the group travelled to Nainital. Students experienced the charm of the hills while boating in the beautiful Naini Lake and strolling through the lively Mall Road. The excitement of shopping for family members added to their happiness and made the experience even more special. Seeking divine blessings, the students also visited the revered Naina Devi Temple.
The students also visited the serene Hanuman Dham. The excursion was a treasure trove of memories that the students will cherish for years to come.
Beas Kund Trekking Expedition
Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar organised a six-day educational trekking expedition to Beas Kund from 21 to 26 May 2026 to promote adventure, environmental awareness, teamwork, and self-reliance. After reaching Manali and acclimatising, students began their trek from Dhundi, passing through the scenic alpine meadows of Bakarthach.
Guided by experienced trek leaders and teachers, they navigated mountain trails, crossed glacial streams, and learnt the values of discipline, resilience, and responsible trekking. The highlight of the expedition was reaching the pristine Beas Kund, the revered source of the River Beas, where students experienced the grandeur of the Himalayas. Living amidst nature strengthened their leadership, cooperation, and adaptability while fostering a deep appreciation for environmental conservation and India’s rich natural heritage.
Summer Football and Cricket Coaching Camp
Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, organised Summer Football and Cricket Coaching Camps from 13 May to 30 June 2026, providing students with an excellent opportunity to enhance their sporting skills during the summer break. The Football Camp, conducted by Sudeva Delhi FC, trained 52 students across the Under-8 to Under-18 categories in technical skills, fitness, teamwork, and discipline. Simultaneously, the Cricket Coaching Camp, conducted by Delhi Gymkhana Cricket Club, provided 37 students with comprehensive training in batting, bowling, fielding, wicket-keeping, and match awareness. Expert coaching, regular assessments, and skill-based activities fostered confidence, leadership, perseverance, and sportsmanship, reflecting the school’s commitment to holistic development through quality sports education.

Salwan Public School Ghaziabad Celebrates Achievers’ Day 2026
Salwan Public School, Trans Delhi Signature City, Ghaziabad celebrated Achievers’ Day 2026 on 20 July 2026 with pride and enthusiasm. Dr Pooja Akshay, Assistant Secretary, Skill Education, CBSE, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Following lamp lighting and an invocation dance, the Principal highlighted the school’s commitment to holistic excellence and announced Jeet Kumar’s admission to IIT Roorkee. Nearly 120 students were felicitated for board results, class achievements, 100% attendance, academic improvement, and co-scholastic excellence. Dr Akshay inspired students to value continuous growth and praised their confident conduct of the programme. The song “Hall of Fame” added vibrancy to the memorable celebration.

MindSparks 5.0 – A Celebration of Innovation and Excellence
Salwan Public School, Gurugram proudly hosted MindSparks 5.0, an Inter-School Competition organised under the aegis of the Gurugram Progressive Schools’ Council (GPSC) on 30 July 2026. The event brought together young innovators from 34 schools, providing a vibrant platform to showcase creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving through interdisciplinary competitions. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, Saraswati Vandana, a choir presentation, and a tribute to Chairman Emeritus Karmayogi Shri Shiv Dutt Salwan Ji. Officiating Principal Dr Sunita Jakhar welcomed the gathering. The competition featured four engaging events, concluding with a prize distribution ceremony that celebrated innovation, collaboration, and experiential learning.
Fire Evacuation Drill
Salwan Public School, Gurugram conducted fire evacuation drills across different blocks from 14 to 17 July 2026, followed by a combined campus-wide drill on 20 July 2026. The objective was to assess the preparedness of students and staff in responding to fire emergencies and reinforce safe evacuation practices. The officiating Principal briefed students on the importance of fire safety and evacuation procedures. The drills were executed smoothly, with students demonstrating discipline and following designated evacuation routes in an orderly manner. Head counts at the assembly points confirmed that everyone was safely accounted for, with no injuries reported. The exercise successfully strengthened emergency preparedness, and such drills will continue to be conducted periodically.
Garvotsav – Felicitation Ceremony
Salwan Public School, Gurugram celebrated Garvotsav – Felicitation Ceremony on 18 July 2026, recognising the outstanding academic and sporting achievements of the Batch of 2025–26. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, a Kathak-based Ganesh Vandana, and a tribute to Chairman Emeritus, Karmayogi Shri Shiv Dutt Salwan Ji. The ceremony was graced by MC Member Dr Raj Kamal Agarwal. Officiating Principal Dr Sunita Jakhar inspired students to pursue excellence with integrity and perseverance. School and stream toppers, along with National and State-level sports champions, were felicitated. The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks by School Director Maj. Gen. Surinder Singh, AVSM, SM, VSM (Retd.), followed by the National Anthem.
Educational Tour to Leh, Kargil and Srinagar
Salwan Education Trust organised an educational tour to Leh, Kargil, and Srinagar from 23 to 29 July 2026. Thirteen students from Salwan Public School, Gurugram, accompanied by teachers Ms Ila Mishra and Mr Sanjeev Dahiya, participated in the enriching expedition. The tour offered students valuable experiential learning while exploring the region’s rich history, culture, and natural beauty. Highlights included visits to Thiksey and Hemis Monasteries, the Hall of Fame, Shanti Stupa, Pangong Lake, Chang La Pass, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, the Kargil War Memorial, Suru Valley, Hunderman Village, and Sonmarg. The journey concluded with a serene Shikara ride on Nigeen Lake in Srinagar, leaving students with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation of India’s heritage.
Farewell- Nova Initia (New Beginning)
Salwan Public School, Gurugram, bid a warm farewell to its outgoing Grade 12 batch (Session 2025–26) on 10 July 2026. The celebration featured a vibrant cultural programme presented by the juniors, filled with heartfelt performances and best wishes for the graduating students. Addressing the gathering, Officiating Principal and School Director Maj. Gen. Surinder Singh, AVSM, SM, VSM (Retd.), encouraged students to embrace new opportunities with confidence, uphold the values and discipline instilled by the school, and face future challenges with resilience and integrity. The event concluded with a special lunch and the presentation of “Sapno Ki Udaan”, a miniature airplane symbolising students’ dreams and aspirations for the future.
