Storytelling and Gut Health Session
Salwan Public School Rajender Nagar organised an enriching Storytelling and Gut Health Session for the students of Classes IV, VI and VII on 07 May 2026.
The session commenced with a warm welcome to the esteemed resource person, Dr. Jaishree Sethi, Creative Director of Story Ghar, and Ms Anju Khosla, a renowned nutritionist. They were accorded a green welcome by Ms Jyotsna Grover, Vice Principal.
Dr. Jaishree Sethi conducted an engaging storytelling session, highlighting the importance of stories in shaping thoughts, emotions, and values. Her interactive narration encouraged students to connect learning with real-life experiences.
This was followed by an insightful session on gut health by Ms. Anju Khosla, who shared valuable tips on healthy eating, mindful living, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
To further enhance their creativity and learning, students were also encouraged to create an impressive artwork of their favourite thali.
The programme proved to be highly informative and inspiring, leaving students with meaningful lessons on the power of storytelling and the importance of good health.

CBSE-Capacity Building Session on Cyber Safety and Security
A Capacity Building Session on Cyber Safety and Security was organised on 18 May 2026 at J.J. Hall. The session was conducted by Mr Ankit Kansara, Principal, St Giri School, and Ms Indu Sharma, PGT, Computer Science, Darshan Academy.
The session aimed to sensitise educators to cyber ethics, digital citizenship, cybercrimes, online and banking frauds, computer forensics and the legal framework related to cyber safety. It commenced with an introductory address by Ms Rashi Oberoi, Headmistress, Salwan Public School, who highlighted the importance of personal cyber safety and creating awareness among students.
Through interactive discussions, brainstorming and practical activities, participants explored privacy, authentication, authorisation, intellectual property rights, plagiarism and data protection. A key highlight was the role-play activity, where teachers enacted real-life scenarios involving phishing, cyberbullying, ATM fraud, identity theft, cyber stalking and online scams, reinforcing the importance of vigilance and timely reporting.
The session also focused on cyber hygiene, safe internet usage, strong passwords, suspicious links, malware protection and social media privacy, with special emphasis on protecting children from cyberbullying and cyber grooming. Participants were also introduced to computer forensics and the Information Technology Act, 2000, highlighting the importance of digital evidence and legal awareness.
The session concluded with an interactive reflection and feedback session. The programme equipped educators with practical strategies to promote safe, responsible and informed digital practices among students, parents and the wider school community.
