Veer Gatha 5.0 Programme
Salwan Girls Senior Secondary School proudly announces the achievement of Sirska, a student of Class XI, who participated in the Veer Gatha 5.0 Gallantry Award Programme organised by CBSE.
Under the theme “The Great Indian Warriors,” she created a painting on Prithviraj Chauhan, showcasing patriotism and artistic excellence. Her artwork was selected among the Top 100 entries across India.
She was honoured with a certificate, medal, prizes, and a cash award by CBSE and the Ministry of Defence on 24 January 2026 at DRDO Bhawan, Kothari Auditorium.

In Rhythm with the Nation
On 26 January 2026, the Band Team of Salwan Public School participated in a Republic Day celebration hosted by Modern Sanskriti School, Sector 43. The event brought together NCC groups from various schools and colleges, along with representatives from the police force, creating an atmosphere marked by discipline, unity, and national pride.
The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr Laxman Singh Yadav, Honourable Member of the Legislative Assembly from Rewari, whose presence added dignity to the ceremonial proceedings. Marching alongside the NCC contingents, the school band performed with confidence, coordination, and visible dedication. Their synchronised movements and spirited music reflected both rigorous training and collective commitment.
Comprising twenty students, the band displayed remarkable energy and cohesion throughout the performance. Their presentation stood as a testament to teamwork, discipline, and a deep sense of patriotism. The performance was recognised with a trophy for Best Performance, acknowledging the band’s excellence and harmonious execution.
The event proved to be a memorable experience for the young performers, reinforcing the values of unity, service, and love for the nation through music and movement.
Learning Through Scientific Inquiry
On 31st January, 2026, a group of fifteen students from Class IX visited the 53rd Rajya Stariya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshini, a State Level Science Exhibition organised by SCERT, Haryana. The visit offered students a valuable opportunity to engage with scientific learning beyond the confines of the classroom.
The exhibition presented a diverse range of innovative models, experiments, and research-based projects developed by students from across the state. Each exhibit demonstrated thoughtful application of scientific principles, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities, while addressing contemporary themes and real-life challenges.
During the visit, students interacted with participants and gained meaningful insight into the processes of inquiry, experimentation, and effective presentation. These interactions deepened understanding and stimulated curiosity, encouraging students to approach scientific ideas with greater critical awareness and creativity.
The educational excursion proved to be a rich and rewarding learning experience, fostering scientific temperament, innovation, and a sustained spirit of exploration among the students. It reaffirmed the importance of experiential learning in nurturing young minds and strengthening their engagement with science.
Young Marksmen on the National Stage
Salwan Public School takes immense pride in celebrating the remarkable achievement of its talented shooters, Saanvi Madan, Hansika Rao, Gunika Sharma, Khwaish Singh and Geet Sohal, who have successfully qualified for the Indian Team Selection Trials. Their accomplishment stands as a testimony to unwavering dedication, disciplined training and sporting excellence.
The students participated in the 68th National Shooting Championship held at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range, Tughlakabad, New Delhi. Competing alongside some of the finest shooters from across the country, they demonstrated commendable precision and composure, thereby securing qualification for the prestigious selection trials.
Adding further glory to the school’s laurels, Hansika Rao of Class VIII D delivered an outstanding performance at the 69th SGFI National Shooting Championship, held at the MP State Shooting Range, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, from 5 January to 9 January 2026. Representing Team Haryana, she clinched the silver medal in the Under-14 Girls Individual category and contributed to the team’s gold medal victory in the team event.
These achievements reflect not only individual excellence but also the school’s strong culture of nurturing sports talent. The school fraternity congratulates the young shooters and wishes them continued success as they aim higher on the national and international shooting arena.

Abeer Gambhir’s success in Tennis Tournament
Salwan Public School RN is proud to share the commendable performances of Abeer Gambhir of Class VIII C in Under-12 tournaments organised by the All India Tennis Association (AITA), held in Delhi, Gurugram, and Sonepat.
Demonstrating remarkable skill, determination, and sportsmanship, Abeer secured a Semi-Final Position in the Delhi tournament and emerged as a Quarter-finalist in the Gurugram tournament.
These outstanding achievements have propelled him to a national ranking of 183 in the Under-12 category as of 31 December 2025, making an impressive leap from a 900+ ranking to 183 within a short span of time of 2 years.

From TED-Ed to Radio Mirchi: Palaksh Gupta Makes Salwan Proud
Salwan Public School, RN feels proud to celebrate the outstanding performance of Palaksh Gupta, student of Class VIII-D, at a global TED-Ed event held at JIMS, Nehru Place.
Speaking on the theme ‘Curiosity – The Power of Being Yourself,’ Palaksh delivered an inspiring talk that resonated strongly with both the audience and the expert panel. His articulate expression, originality of thought, and stage presence earned wide appreciation, reflecting his growing communication skills and self-belief.
Adding another feather to his cap, Palaksh was subsequently invited by Radio Mirchi to share his ideas on the same theme, providing him with a larger platform to voice his perspectives and inspire a wider audience.
Palaksh’s achievement highlights the school’s commitment to holistic education and experiential learning.
State Level Achievements 2025-26
The State Level Competitions 2025–26 provided a platform for students to display their creativity and competitive spirit.
- Athrav Gupta of Class VIII B won the Second Position in the Best Out of Waste Competition in the Junior Boys category.
- Aaradhya Yadav of Class VII G and Tanushka Budhiraja of Class VIII B secured Third Position in the English Debate (Junior Girls category).
