Achievers’ Day and the Investiture Ceremony 2026-2027- Primary Wing
On 10 July 2026, the Primary Segment of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar celebrated Achievers’ Day and the Investiture Ceremony 2026-2027 with great enthusiasm, recognising academic excellence and formally inducting the newly elected Student Council. Chief Guest, Brig Sameer Bhadauria (Retd), inspired students to lead with integrity, humility and a spirit of service. The programme featured a soulful rendition of ‘Hall of Fame’ by the school choir, the contemporary dance ‘Gyan Ki Roshni’, and a powerful presentation of Shri Krishna Ki Chetavani. The ceremony concluded with the Promise Speech by the Head Boy and Head Girl, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the school motto, Service Before Self.
Achievers’ Day 2025–2026- Middle and Senior Wing
Achievers’ Day, 2025–2026 was celebrated at Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, on 18 July 2026 to honour the academic and co-scholastic excellence of students from Classes VI to XII. The event was graced by Prof. Aarti Minocha, Professor, Department of English, Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi, and Shri Vinod Malhotra, Civil Engineer, as the esteemed Guests. The programme featured a vibrant dance performance, the felicitation of academic achievers, including recipients of the Salwan Education Trust Awards, an inspiring demonstration of ZyraDrive—an AI-driven car designed by Keshav Jha of Class VIII for Persons with Special Needs (PwSN)—and the felicitation of co-scholastic achievers. The celebration concluded with an insightful address by Prof. Aarti Minocha, encouraging parents to nurture critical thinking and independent learning, followed by the Vote of Thanks delivered by Shivika Pratap Singh, Vice Head Girl.
Atal Tinkerfest & Entrepreneurship Day 2026
Students of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar-Svanik Das Choudhary of Class IX, Vidip Kedia of Class IX, Sharv Vatsalya of Class VII and Gaurish Rahul Singh of Class VII participated in the Atal Tinkerfest & Entrepreneurship Day held at Sneh International School, New Rajdhani Enclave, Vikas Marg, Delhi, on 18 July 2026. Sharv Vatsalya and Gaurish Rahul Singh secured Second Prize in the Application Development Challenge for their innovative Study Sphere App, promoting self-paced learning. Svanik Das Choudhary and Vidip Kedia participated enthusiastically in the Robo Race Challenge, demonstrating commendable teamwork, determination and technical skills. Their efforts were appreciated by the jury.
Excellence beyond the Classroom
Students of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, have secured admissions to prestigious institutions across the country, bringing pride to the school through their remarkable academic achievements. Aishwarya Rathod of Class XII, Batch 2025-26 scored AIR 406 in IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 and AIR 837 in National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2026 conducted by NISER. She also scored an AIR 5361 in NEET. Shivansh Upadhyay of Class XII has been admitted to IIT Kanpur for Statistics and Data Science. Pradyumn Jha of Class XII has secured admission to the Integrated B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and M.Tech in Communication Systems at IIT Patna, while Swastik Goel has secured admission to BITS Pilani for B.Tech in Computer Science. Their outstanding accomplishments reflect their hard work and the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
U-17 Zonal Basketball Championship
On 17 July 2026, the under 17 girls basketball team of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar secured 2nd position in the Zonal Basketball Championship held at Mother’s Global School.
U-17 Zonal Table Tennis Championship
Samanyu Bhatt of Class XI of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, participated in the Individual Event U-17 Zonal Table Tennis Championship held at Lovely Heritage School, Mayur Vihar Phase II, and secured Third Position. His commendable performance and sporting spirit brought laurels to the school.
U-19 Zonal Basketball Championship
On 16 July 2026, the under-19 girls basketball team of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, secured First Position in the Zonal Basketball Championship held at RSKV West Vinod Nagar.
U-19 Zonal Table Tennis Championship
Daksh Kumar of Class XII of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, secured First Position, while Siddharth Vishwakarma of Class XI secured Second Position in the Individual Event U-19 Zonal Table Tennis Championship held at Lovely Heritage School, Mayur Vihar Phase II. VidyaKiran Appreciation Award
On 17 July 2026, Harsimrat Kaur and Unnati Sati of Class X of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, have been awarded the prestigious VidyaKiran Appreciation Award by the Garg Foundation (ADORE) in recognition of their dedication, perseverance and all-round development. The selection process comprised three rounds of online interviews. During these interviews, the students were assessed on their academic achievements, future aspirations, leadership qualities and how they successfully manage academics along with co-curricular activities. They also shared their views on the changes they would like to bring to the education system if given an opportunity and submitted a written response outlining their vision for improving education. After successfully completing all the stages of the selection process, both students were conferred with the award, along with a certificate and a cheque of Rs. 1001 each.

Students Shine at EDEN 6.0 – The Nexus
Students of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, participated with great enthusiasm in EDEN 6.0 – The Nexus, hosted by Father Agnel School, Sector 62, Noida, on 28 and 29 July 2026. The inter-school event brought together young innovators and creative minds from various schools to compete in a range of technical and creative challenges.
Representing the school, the students participated in Grand Kick Off, Code Synth, Snap Sphere, Young Reporters, Way Point, and the online event Shadow Ops. Their enthusiastic participation reflected creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and technological aptitude.
The school is proud to announce that Arkaye Goel and Chetancy Kumar of Class XI secured First Prize in the Snap Sphere event, bringing laurels to the institution through their outstanding achievement.

Vihan Malodia of Class VIII A won the Second Position in the Junior Boys’ English Declamation competition. Manuj of Class XII C secured the Third Position in the Senior Boys’ Drawing Competition. Voice of Art 2026 - Art Competition
The Art Department at Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, along with a team of enthusiastic students from classes VII, VIII, and X participated in Voice of Art 2026 – Ulajhte Sulajhte, Together We Change, hosted by Nirmal Bhartia School, Dwarka. The artistic journey commenced with the First Connect on 23 April 2026, where students and educators from participating schools came together to explore the theme, understand the creative process, and gain insights into the methodology of the challenge. This marked the beginning of an inspiring journey of research, collaborative discussions, idea exploration, and online mentoring sessions which enabled students to transform their thoughts into meaningful works of art.
Our students participated with great enthusiasm in both the Junior and Senior categories, using art as a powerful medium to express their perspectives on pressing social and environmental issues. Their artworks reflected creativity, empathy, and a deep sense of responsibility towards the world around them.
The journey culminated in the Voice of Art Exhibition, held from 17 to19 July 2026, where the final creations of participating schools were showcased, celebrating the power of young minds to inspire change through artistic expression.
The programme proved to be an enriching experience, nurturing research-based learning, critical thinking, collaboration, and creative problem-solving while reinforcing the belief that every brushstroke has the potential to spark meaningful change.
Takumi Hackathon 2026
The students of Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, showcased exceptional innovation and technical expertise at the Takumi Hackathon 2026, held on 02 May and 03 May 2026 at the CM SHRI Branch Office, Delhi. The 24-hour student-led event focused on Web Development and Game Development, encouraging young minds to collaborate and create practical solutions. Competing against 250 teams from various Delhi schools, our team secured Fourth position overall. The participants showcased good creativity, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and coding proficiency.
The hackathon also provided students with valuable exposure to real-world project building, critical thinking, and collaborative learning under time-bound conditions.
Gold Medal in Gymnastics
Gravi Prewa, student of Class VIII-D at Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, secured Gold Medal at the Grassroots Gymnastics Championship 2026. The event was organised by IGIPESS, University of Delhi, Vikas Puri, and was held from 27 April to 29 April 2026.
