The Legal Literacy Club of Salwan Boys Senior Secondary School marked Human Rights Day with an enlightening interactive session on December 10, 2024. Advocate Mr. Tejasvi Goel, associated with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority and practicing at Tis Hazari Courts, engaged with students from classes VI to X.

Advocate Mr. Goel highlighted the significance of the Indian Constitution, a monumental document that took nearly three years to draft. He shared thought-provoking anecdotes about the neglect of human rights during British rule and elaborated on key rights such as the Right to Freedom, Right to Speech, and Right to Education. Additionally, he discussed child protection laws and inspired students to embrace their responsibilities, including preserving the environment, planting trees, and helping those in need.

The session concluded with a lively Question and Answer round, where students enthusiastically inquired about the Constitution and related topics, making the event both informative and interactive.
