Shri Shiv Dutt Salwan, a revered visionary and philanthropist, dedicated his life to advancing education, believing fervently in its transformative power. At the tender age of 9, he displayed remarkable courage by joining Satyagrahis in protesting against the ban on Swami Dayanand Saraswati’s work. Throughout his life, he exemplified compassion and leadership, notably during the turbulent pre-partition era, where he worked tirelessly to aid the refugees.
Under his guidance, Salwan Schools in Delhi & NCR flourished, earning accolades for their academic excellence and holistic education. Initiatives like the Salwan Cross-Country Run and environmental sustainability efforts reflected his commitment to multi-dimensional education and community welfare. A staunch patriot, he instilled values of respect for the Armed Forces and inclusivity in all stakeholders, ensuring educational opportunities for children with special needs. His collaborations with educational delegations fostered research and innovation, thus promoting the international dimension in all Salwan Schools.
