Smt. Puneet Sardana

A visionary leader with over three decades of excellence in education, Smt. Puneet Sardana has transformed Salwan Girls School into a hub of innovation, achievement, and holistic development. Beginning her journey as a Biology educator, she brings deep academic expertise, clarity of purpose, and a student-first approach to her leadership. 

A pioneer in educational innovation, she established India’s first Atal Tinkering Lab, nurturing a culture of creativity and problem-solving. Under her guidance, student-led projects such as Filtrowell, a wastewater recycling initiative, showcase impactful, real-world learning. She has also elevated cultural and co-curricular programmes, achieving national recognition in vocal music and forging meaningful NGO partnerships to build leadership, life skills, and social responsibility among students. A strong advocate for inclusive education, Smt. Sardana champions opportunities for underprivileged girls, empowering them with the skills and confidence needed for lifelong independence and success.

Her commitment to excellence extends beyond academics. She has expanded the school’s sporting landscape—introducing diverse disciplines including golf—while mentoring athletes who have reached national-level platforms, including representation in the Indian cricket team.
