Dr. Sunita Jakhar

Dr. Sunita Jakhar is a visionary educator with over 24 years of experience in teaching, academic leadership, and school administration. She began her career as a TGT (Science) in 2003 and advanced through dedication and strong leadership. A Ph.D. in Zoology, she specialises in academics, administration, staff development, counselling, and innovation-driven education. She has been instrumental in implementing NEP 2020 and NCF 2023 through initiatives such as subject rooms, skill-based courses, and experiential learning.

Known for academic excellence, she has guided students to outstanding CBSE results, including a city topper (99.6%) in 2025–26. Her achievements include recognitions from former Education Minister Smriti Irani, the Walde Memorial Award, and honours in Biology and environmental initiatives. She has also published research in an international journal. Committed to holistic and sustainable education, she has led projects like the Microgreens Lab, Cool Roofs, Vertical Gardening, STEAM Lab development, and international research collaborations. An active trainer and speaker, she conducts workshops on leadership, empathy, well-being, and future-ready education
