Salwan Health & Holistic Care Centre
Salwan Welfare Centre, located in JJ Colony, Inderpuri, New Delhi, has been serving the community since its establishment in 1967. The centre was renamed as Salwan Health & Holistic Care Centre on 6th July 2019. This is another milestone of the Salwan Education Trust which houses a Health & Research Centre, and a Charitable Homeopathy Clinic. It is the Trust’s endeavour to provide holistic health care solutions to the residents of Inderpuri and the neighboring areas.
The Centre is providing infrastructural support to Max Healthcare Research Unit for non-communicable disease screening. The ambition of the Global Health Research Unit (GHRU) on Diabetes and Cardiovascular Diseases in South Asia is to create an interdisciplinary environment that fosters development and implementation of acceptable, equitable, scalable and sustainable approaches to reduce the burden of type-2 diabetes (T2D) and cardiovascular diseases (CVD) in South Asia.
